Steinkauz Cloud
Checkout sells one Steinkauz Cloud entitlement at quantity 1. Inference is customer-owned BYOK. There is no per-seat charge. See Plans overview.

Members use the Platform API when they belong to an entitled organization and have the inference permission.
Allowances and technical limits
The commercial Cloud allowance is 50,000 governed requests per 30 days and 5 GB of retained database content. Exceeding this allowance leads to a usage review, rather than an automatic cutoff. Content retention defaults to 30 days; decision and usage ledgers have separate retention.
Technical API limits apply independently and return 429 when exceeded. Current defaults are 30 requests per minute per API key and five concurrent streams per user. Configured Budgets and routing policy can also block requests. See Errors & limits and Pricing .
How to subscribe
- Public signup creates or joins a real organization (Create & manage an organization).
- As organization owner, open [organization name] → Organization settings and choose Subscribe in Billing, or start from Pricing .
- Complete checkout. Quantity is always 1.
You do not subscribe at organization creation. Checkout does not sell included inference.
Customer-owned Gateway in organizations
Connect a Vercel AI Gateway instance with the organization’s API key in Connections. Admins can set optional Budgets per member or dedicated API key. API access uses those Budget rules.
Managing the subscription
- Billing portal: organization owner opens Manage billing in organization settings.
- Cancel: through the billing portal; access continues until the paid period ends unless canceled immediately by support.
