Get started with the Platform
Steinkauz AI is a policy and evidence layer in front of your inference providers. Connect your existing software through the OpenAI-compatible API, configure routing and budgets, then inspect request evidence.
Use Steinkauz Cloud for EU-region shared hosting, or Private Deployment within your chosen boundary. You bring your own inference accounts; Steinkauz does not resell inference.
First governed request
- Sign in and confirm the active organization in the main navigation.
- An owner/admin adds a Connection, its credentials and execution environment.
- Review Policies and Budgets. Customer-declared sensitivity must be allowed for the chosen environment.
- Open API access and create a key. Members use their own budget; admins/owners can also give an integration a dedicated budget.
- In Overview, copy the Bash or PowerShell example. Replace the key placeholder, list models and choose a complete model ID. Send the small request.
- Find its decision ID in Activity to inspect policy, usage, cost and attribution.

Your role
Members review personal spending, remaining budgets, their API access and request evidence. Admins manage connections, routing, budgets and team usage. Owners also manage organization membership and billing. See roles.
